Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Poland-Belarus-Ukraine ENPI 2007-2013

The Challenge:

the increase of inbound and domestic tourism contribution into the economy of Lviv region, Podkarpackie and Lublin voivodships, and improvement of social security and the standard of living for the residents of border region within 5 years after the project realization.

Major Activities:

1.1. Number of international conferences – 6 conferences;

1.2. Number of cross-border forum for mayors – 1 forum;

1.3. Number of international seminars – 2 seminars;

1.4. Number of round table with local authorities and the public – 1 meeting;

1.5. Tripartite agreement on cross-border cooperation for the development of tourism – 1 signed agreement.

2.1 Created one complex cross-border tourist information database (on the basis of 7 proceeded databases).

2.2 Number of urban tourist information signs installed – 12 (city-light).

3.1. Number of disseminated promotional/ informative materials – 34460 items including:

- guide printed – 19500;

- brochures – 6500;

- leaflets -7200;

- posters -180;

- advertising tourist products – 1080.

3.2. Number of joint Ukrainian-Polish outdoor promotional initiatives to promote cross-border region 1 – info-tour of journalists EU; 1 - Youth bike ride Brody - Rzeszow/length approx. 300 km.

3.3. Number of produced promotional and informative films – 12 - Short video clips about the partner cities and 1 promotional 30 - min. film about Ukrainian – Polish tourist border region in 500 copies on DVD;

3.4. Publication of CD with map and aditional details – 5000 copies.

3.5. Number of press-conferences held–18 press-conferences.

3.6. Number of briefings held – 2 briefing.

3.7. Number of press-releases – 310 items.

3.8. Number of the created websites promoting the project/tourism and culture – 9 web-sites.

3.9 Number of visit-center of a small tourist border cities developed – 1 visit-center.

3.10 Number of disassembled portable tourist and cultural information points developed – 12 points.

3.11. Number of geo-information system of tourist information created – 1 system.

3.12 Number of promotional items: (uniforms for guides with Programme logo) made – 45 uniforms and 16 T-shorts for cycling;

3.13 Number of pro-ecological and tourist educational reports sent to local media – 100 reports.

4.1. Number of joint exercises on the territory of Ukraine – 7 trainings;

4.2. Number joint training and exercises on the territory of Poland – 6 exercises;

4.3. Number of joint training Internships course – 1 course;

4.4. Number of official trips/joint working meeting – 24 meetings;

4.5. Training programme for guides of two countries participators - 1 program.

Results:

An umbrella project is at the stage of implementation of the January 2014 to December 2015.
