Association Lviv Tourist Board (LTB) was created in 2000 under the aegis of the UK Department for International Development (DFID) in partnership with the organs of state self-government, tour operators and organizations of Lviv Region.

Today LTB is a membership non-profit organization (consists of 65 members being legal entities) that presents and provides partnership between public and private sectors.

TOURIST CONSULTING

We offer a variety of information services for tourists and residents of the city of Lviv and Lviv region. We search for potential Ukrainian partners for foreign investors, provide the required consulting and information services, and conduct negotiations.

LICENSED COURSE FOR TOUURIST GUIDES

Tourist Information Center (TIC), a subsidiary of the LTB, has conducted the annual licensed training courses for professional tourist guides around the city of Lviv and castles of Lviv region and for mountain guides since 2002.

CORPORATE AND INDIVIDUAL TOURISM

LTB provides highly professional tours around the city of Lviv and Lviv region as well as develops interesting program for the whole stay in Lviv region.

ORGANIZING AND CONDUCTING SEMINARS, CONFERENCES AND TRAINING PROGRAMS

LTB successfully organized and conducted more than 100 international seminars, conferences, training programs and round tables.

DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF PROJECTS

We develop international projects, national and regional programs for the development of domestic and inbound tourism.

TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

LTB organizes information, advertising and publishing activities in tourism.

MARKETING OF TOURIST TERRITORIES

We develop marketing strategies and plans for tourist destinations.

DOING RESEARCH

LTB performs the collection and analysis of information on the situation and problems of tourism development in Lviv region/cross-border region, and conducts a SWOT analysis of territories.

STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

LTB conducts scientific, economic, social, marketing and other analytical researches in Lviv region and Ukraine-Poland cross-border region, and for subjects of tourist activity.

History and activities

Our team

The team of Lviv Tourist Board (LTB) consists of the executive team, staff and independent consultants, market analysts, linguists, economists, environmentalists and scientists among 65 Active members and Associate members of the Association.

Over the years of its existence (since 2001), the Executive staff of LTB received the necessary knowledge and practical experience. However, we also use the services of experienced experts from other trusted companies, agencies and organizations in order to create the most effective team of experts for every project. We personally provide a project management at the stage of writing and implementation of tourism projects as well as cooperate with the international programs and funds. We attract local experts for conducting research. In order to create printed and online materials and communications we cooperate with the professional text authors, designers and publishing houses that have the necessary experience in the field of tourism and contiguous areas. Also due to the unique database of contacts, the Association uses services of local consultants in Ukraine and Poland for general awareness and detailed understanding of pressing issues in tourism development. Our database contains more than 700 licensed professional tourist guides trained to organize sightseeing tours around the city of Lviv and Ukraine.
